Vanessa and Ryan's wedding was held at La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, California. The hotel combines luxury and glamor with the beach, which is exactly how they pictured their dream wedding venue. The ceremony took place in the garden at sunset with a view of the beautiful Pacific Ocean in the background and the reception took place in the Verandah Room. The Verandah Room has floor to ceiling ocean view Windows, over 20 crystal chandeliers, classic black and white tile floors with mirrors and gold accents. The gold accents made the ballroom the perfect venue for their white, gold and blush pink color scheme. The bride decorated all ten guest tables with crisp white linen and decorated our sweetheart table and cake table with gold sequin linen to make them pop! They had gold chiavari chairs which are a decoration on their, own plus they had gold charger plates. Each guest table had either a high or low centerpiece in a gold goblet vase. The centerpieces were made of white hydrangeas, white peonies and white and blush pink roses. The centerpieces were topped off with extra large white ostrich feathers and draped pearl strands. To complete the table decor, the couple had foil gold table numbers in vintage gold frames. They also had pink uplighting which really set the mood for their party! Guests were served sushi, duck tacos and mini burgers for appetizers and La Valencia's signature seabass was served for dinner if you ordered fish and sirloin was served with scalloped potatoes if you ordered beef. The bridesmaids wore custom dresses that were designed by the bride's sister and herself, and the groomsmen wore a mix of 1920's inspired tuxedos and Marine dress blue uniforms. Ryan is a 1st Lt in the Marine Corps so they entered the reception by doing a traditional military sword arch. The couple also cut the cake with a sword... so fun! Everyone partied the night away with all of their closest family and friends, it was truly their dream wedding and they could not be happier with the outcome!
