Wedding Wednesday: Tatjana & Mihajlo

7/7/2015  |  Private Residence
Both their wedding ceremony and reception were held in comfort and familiarity of their home. Tatjana and Mihajlo did most of the preparations themselves with help of their friends and family. The couple spent a lot of time on details as those, in their opinion, make the event. Coming from a Serbian/Russian background they were expected to have a huge wedding. However, they have always thought that more is less so the couple decided to have a very intimate wedding. Fewer people can mean a more personal celebration. While only closest family was invited they wanted to make it personable and memorable for everyone. That is why they made sure to incorporate Serbian and Russian details, traditions and foods. Tatjana and Mihajlo's favorite part of the wedding was sitting at a table with all of their guests, enjoying the wine and the five course meal their friend and a chef, Cuong Tu, prepared. There was more time for them to spend with their guests, the group really got to know one another, and everyone contributed to the event in his or her own way.
