Wedding Wednesday: Victoria & Dave

4/12/2011  |  Mount Woodson Castle

their story: Refering to our wedding as Indian Fusion, where the East meets the West, Victoria and Dave chose Mt Woodson Castle to represent her German heritage and the beautiful Indian tent and vibrant colors to represent his heritage. Autumn was the perfect time to have a wedding using the rich sunset colors we chose. While the ceremony, wedding gown and attendants dress were tradtional, they incorporated the Indian theme in the sari's worn by the flower girls, the beautiful Indian tent and of course the colors. After the wedding ceremony, the guests were offered a cocktail hour with a slider staion, a fruit, cheese and vegetable station as well as passed hors d'oeuvres. A photo booth was also offered for their entertainment. Personal Touch Dining provided a delicious dinner of top sirloin steak and chicken Chassur topped with a mushroom shallot wine sauce accompanied by bacon and carmelized onion whipped poratoes and fresh, in season vegetables. After dinner, their guests danced to great entertainment provided by Disc Go Round DJ and video service. In keeping with the Indian theme, Victoria surprised her husband by changing in to an exquisite purple sari and made a grand entrance down the stairs of the castle. After dancing the night away, they exited the reception through an illuminating array of sparkers! A perfect exit to a perfect wedding.
